Data protection policy
Last updated: January 2025
Protecting your personal data is central to the relationship between Digibooking, a company specialized in travel and cruise reservations, and its customers. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect the information concerning you when you use our services online and offline.
Digibooking, based in Algiers (Algeria), acts as the data controller for all services offered to travelers. Data may be collected during browsing sessions, information requests, bookings or interactions with our partners (shipping companies, hotels, activity providers). Additional information can be requested during the contractual relationship or to comply with Algerian regulatory requirements.

| Contact details | Postal address, phone numbers, email addresses. |
| Professional situation and economic information | Occupation, job title, declared income when payment facilities are requested. |

We limit the collection to information that is strictly necessary and relevant to the purposes described below. Data are updated whenever you provide new information.
Personal data are kept only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes above, plus the statutory limitation periods. For example, booking files are stored for the duration of the contract and up to 5 years after completion to meet accounting, tax or regulatory obligations. Marketing data are retained for 3 years from the last active interaction.
Collected data may be shared, to the extent required, with Digibooking internal teams, technical providers (hosting, secure payment, customer support), travel partners (shipping companies, hotels, destination agencies) and competent administrative or judicial authorities. When transfers to countries without an adequate protection level are necessary, Digibooking implements the contractual safeguards required by Algerian regulations and, where appropriate, obtains authorization from the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data.
To exercise these rights, you can write to privacy@digibooking.dz or send a letter to Digibooking – Data Protection Office, Algiers (Algeria).
Digibooking will respond to your request within 30 working days, except for complex cases that justify additional time. You may also contact the ANPDP if you believe your rights are not being respected.
We implement physical, technical and organizational measures to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your data: encryption, access control, regular audits, staff training and incident response procedures. Any breach likely to impact your rights and freedoms will be notified to the competent authorities and, when required, to the individuals concerned. This policy may evolve with regulatory changes and service improvements; significant updates will be published on digibooking.dz and shared through our usual channels.
